meraki [may-rah-kee] adjective
This is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe doing something with soul, creativity, or love –when you put "something of yourself" into what you're doing, whatever it may be.

I found a lot of Meraki at Fisika, a family business based in Crete that creates handmade, organic olive oil personal care products like soaps, cremes and lotions.

They are a fun and dedicated bunch of people, working with loads of passion to create chemical-free products like their grandma taught them to. Fisika is committed to use only recycled and not polluting materials, and most remarkably, they are an inspiring story of resilience in nowadays Greece.

After our lucky meeting, Fisika commissioned me a serie of ballpoint illustrations inspired by spring Cretan flowers for a special edition of their soaps.

The illustrations were printed on the lid of their 2 mini soaps gift box, on recycled, soft to the touch, matte cream paper.

You can find their wonderful products here and to see the full illustrations and / or get prints, please go here
