The stranger

In her bio “The stranger” author Claudia Durastanti writes how she didn’t know as a child what Patti Smith sounded like. She would read about her and the like snooping through her mom’s books, whom happened to be deaf. The world was just family, and even Patti Smith tiptoed around her childhood raising a finger to her lips.
