During 2020 winter, when (more or less) Europe was in a lockdown, a 2014 book about a swine pandemic that wipes out 99% of the population got particularly hot once again. Masochism? 🐷

Now, Emily St. John Mandel after “Station 11” published “The glass hotel”, a story about white collar crime and a big Ponzi’s scheme crashing down. So, you know, one illustration for the price of two.
